TREND: Straw satchels
WHO'S WEARING IT: Rachel Bilson (Chanel), Melanie Griffith, Sarah Jessica Parker (Dolce & Gabbana)
HOW TO WEAR IT: These aren't the tacky, bright-hued bags that should only be schlepped to the beach. The natural woven carryalls are chic enough to tote all over town! We prefer straw purses with elegant black accents, like Rachel's and SJP's. While the textured totes obviously complement casual outfits, don't slum it by pairing them with a frumpy sweater, like Melanie did. Instead, incorporate some denim into your look. The arm candy would also go great with a sundress.
