Getting red carpet ready is always so much fun. I LOVE these opps to give talented makeup artists, hairstylists, and designers their time to shine and feel honored to be their muse for the night. Especially since I myself started out as a MUA (makeup artist), I know how special it is to give a star their signature look for the eve–it’s a modern day Cinderella moment. And I’m so blessed to have such wonderful artists around me to give me their magic wand wave for the night.
I go to about 2-3 parties a week where I’ll link up with my favorite talents to help me get ready. If you read my blog alot you’ll see my faves are from my very own Pretty Posse from my show How Do I Look? on Style Network. Last week I got gussied up for the Comcast Entertainment Group Summer TCA Cocktail Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Bev Hills. It was awesome being able to catch up with my fave faces like Michael Yo, the always dazzling Catt Sadler, sexy sistas like Danielle Fishel, Kristina Guerrero, and Amy Paffrath and more. Chatted it up with the Kardashians, and swapped tanning tricks with Olivia and Tracy of Jerseylicious, ha. Meanwhile Mel B. and I ooh’d and aah’d over our hot fits, and I still can’t get over Kendra’s slammin post mama bod. I’m honored to be a part of such a fun network that allows us each to shine in our very own way. From the staff that pumps out the sickest events to the stars that light em up, Style’s so got it goin on. I always look forward to the events we have because I know it’s gonna have lotsa glitz, yummy food, and lil special touches to make anyone feel VIP. Next best thing to being at these parties? Tuning in so you feel like part of the fam!
