With all of the fancy hardware options for Balenciaga bags that have come out in the last few years (giant silver, giant gold, giant covered, rose gold, etc), it’s easy to forget about the style that started it all: “regular,” as it’s known to Balenciaga fans. How nice of Kim Kardashian, then, to remind us all of this subtler, more versatile option.
I’m also kind of jealous that she’s managing to carry a nude-colored bag that is still nude colors. I’m sure that she has so many bags that she doesn’t use any of them to death, but if I had a bag that color, it would immediately find a puddle in which to fall or some ink against which to rub. If I was carrying her Balenciaga City Bag, it would surely look like it had been through a war, even if it was brand new.
