It’s incredible to have a job that is a part of a mission to add value to people.
My role as host of my show, How Do I Look, is one part of this beautiful blessing. Everyday on this show I have the opportunity to change women who wish they could be understood beyond their appearance. The other part is being within the family of Style Network, that focuses on extending all efforts outside of producing great television to elevate and empower organizations like Dress For Success. Dress For Success was a vision started by one woman who believed that thru donations of suits, she could rebuild a woman’s worth from the work field to her personal life and dreams. I had the opportunity to meet these ferocious women last night at a WICT (Women in Cable Telecommunications) event. It was awe inspiring to hear the women who spoke because I love how beauty begins to reveal itself through a woman’s face when you hear her share her heart. It was an honor to finish off the night with a few words about my belief behind fashion, the story we allow it to tell about our identity, and how we can be an asset to any person’s life the moment we share whatever natural talent we have to give.
