The magic to Mai look..the Pretty Posse

**Updates to this season’s Pretty Posse with fashionistas Kayla McGee and Jocelyn Garrity–stay tuned for bios
A few nights ago I took out my Pretty Posse-my talented group of hair, makeup, and wardrobe all wrapped into colorful bodies of fun, sparkling energy. These guys take my personal style and help me refresh and invigorate it into different versions of me. Because I have such exciting opportunities to dress up, I really do love to ask the famous four words to my show, “How Do I Look?” I believe style is a confident perspective of your identity, and celebrating it with the people who love you.
That said, I just had to take this wonderful group out for a magical night..to the one and only Magic Castle here in Hollywood, CA! Not only do these guys lend their talents to spoiling me, but they also get into fun events like this to the special people around us. Every outfit you see on my show starts from a moment of inspiration, with dabs and touches from each department until we create a full look that caters to the specific segment of the show. It’s brillz just making the fun lil doll of design come to life until I can put “her” on! Here’s to Norma Blaque and Hope Zarro, my hair fairies who always made sure each of my strands were sensationally sassy. Craig Beaglehole and Bonni Flowers, my makeup stars who know exactly how to light and lift my smiling face up camera perfect for any shot. Hollie, Megan, and Ashley, for being such dolls in helping me every way I could need. And Bory Tan, my long time love, for playing dress up with me each and every time- and helping me to make it become a reality for those who deserve that Cinderella moment around us.
Also, my most proudest CONGRATS to my Norma Blaque, for being honored “Latino Star” from BE Magazine at the ISSE show in Long Beach, CA! Thatta girl!!!
Here are some fun pics from the night, special thanks to Erin and Andrea for making our visit even more spectacular. Also some fave wardrobe changes we’ve done on my show. Enjoy!

A few of my FAVE must haves:
Ardell Lashes in #114 (stacked with more drag lashes for a smashing effect.)
MAC Carbon with #266 Brush (camera power pop to eyeliner.)
Mason Pierson Brush (gets volume to any hair, ANY hair!)
Asset spanks from Target (oh yea..they’re faves for a girl in any size. AND they hold ur phone when no one’s watching
Karen Millen anything.

July 17, 2010: Kim attends Khadijah and Bobby’s wedding

July 17, 2010: After quickly jetting home to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, Kim was photographed looking stunning at Bobby McCray & Khadijah Haqq’s wedding on Saturday. The whole family was there and Khloe was one of Khadijah’s bridesmaids. Kim’s ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush was there and according to the paps there were a few awkward moments. However, Reggie was seen having a friendly talk with Kris and Bruce.

Monica Rose's Blog: Behind the scenes with Kendall Jenner

Last week, I had the pleasure of working with the beautiful Kendall Jenner. I have to say Kendall was so much fun to work with. She was so professional and knew exactly what she wanted in every shot! You would have thought that she has been modeling for years? I guess she learned a lot from her big sisters! I am so excited to see the final pictures shot by photographer
Nick Saglimbeni.

Joyce Bonelli did her make-up and Rob Scheppy did hair. It was a fun shoot with the Glam Squad! Everyone did such an amazing job! Here are some candid shots from day 1 on the beach in Malibu.

Soften Up With a Delicate Bandage Dress

TREND: Soft bandage dresses

WHO'S WEARING IT: Malin Akerman (ASOS), Whitney Port (Yigal Azrouël), January Jones (BCBG Max Azria)

HOW TO WEAR IT: The new spin on the bandage dress is perfect for the daytime. Soft colors, like yellows and blues, and delicate textures, like draped chiffon, tone down the traditionally skintight effect of these body-hugging frocks. Pair the look with caged booties, like Whitney did, to add an edgy flair—or keep your appearance summertime cazh, like Malin's, by accessorizing with flat metallic sandals.

Create Ladylike Volume With a Pleated Skirt

TREND: Pleated Skirts

WHO'S WEARING IT: Kristen Bell (Louis Vuitton), Eva Mendes (Azzaro), Drew Barrymore (Oscar de la Renta)

HOW TO WEAR IT: To get the full ladylike feel of this voluminous trend, look for skirts that fall either at the knee or just a few inches above. Too short and you might be mistaken for a schoolgirl—especially if you go with plaid! Instead, opt for a bright color or metallic, and remember to keep it fitted on top. Going to a summer barbecue? In a lightweight material, this breezy style will keep you cool all day long.
